ARUSHI AVACHAT

Arushi Avachat is a writer from the Bay Area, CA. She currently studies English, Political Science, and South Asian Studies at UCLA, where she can be found sipping caramel lattes and pretending to be productive at Kerckhoff Coffee House. She is a contributor to the Young Adult anthology Study Break (Feiwel and Friends). Her first novel, Arya Khanna’s Bollywood Moment (Wednesday Books), released in January. A 2024 Marshall Scholar, Arushi will begin her MSt in English and American Studies at Oxford University this fall. Arushi loves dark chocolate, Jane Austen books, and California winters.
